I am currently reading Red Scare by Clay Risen for my personal research on how Red Scare politics can be observed in today’s politics and why. So far I am enjoying drawing parallels between the time periods and am learning much more than I expected!

For AP Literature, we are currently reading “Purple Hibiscus” by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I am enjoying this book so far as it is more of a modern read than many other books I have read for class. The plot is fascinating, and I am learning a lot about Nigerian culture.
